After crossing the Nullarbor, we arrived at the coastal sea town of Esperance, named after the french vessel Esperance which reached it in the 17th century.
This town is the home of a home made museum with the reliques of SkyLab: the first American space station.
There are many more things to see from local tractor, engines, a train, old tricycle. It looks more like an antique than like a museum: anybody can bring his stuff and it shows that Australia doesn't have a long history.
The Pink Lake is not pink since 9 years according to the locals.
A few hundreds km north of Esperance, you will find the Wave Rock. A wonder of nature: it's 15m high and 150m long and really looks like a wave.
It's possible to walk on it and there are other interesting rocks in the area to visit.
We then drove a few hours by night toward Perth.
